Giving Back :: Messages of Love

SprATX partnered with Operation Finally Home, Wilshire Homes, and Kleenex on an incredibly special project earlier this year. A beautiful home was built and donated to Nick, Shelby and their two children as a gift of thanks for their service to our country. SprATX artists, Zuzu, Liza Fishbone, and Asher Freehan added their love to the project by creating positive art and messages on the interior/exterior walls and floors throughout the house. 2016 X Games Mural House

  X Games reached out to SprATX earlier this year in hopes of working together to custom build an interactive activation for the 2016 X Games in Austin. Over the course of one week SprATX fabricated a two-story mural house exhibiting 11 local and 3 visiting international artists. Much of the house was painted prior the games, while the large-scale outer walls were painted live throughout the weekend of the event. The structure was a main attraction during X Games, allowing guests to walk through and experience the mural house first-hand, take photos, interact with artists, and grab some shade from the Texas sun. “Niz is a Peruvian  born female stencil artist based out of Austin, Texas. She is known for her mutli-layered photo-realistic stencil work and skateboard art. Niz’s work draws from elements of graffiti, hip hop culture, existentialism and spirituality.
